Craig C. Minko is an Administrative Partner at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale East office. Mr. Minko is a State and Federal court civil litigator and trial lawyer, who focuses his practice in the following areas: business/commercial litigation; employment discrimination and retaliation complaints/investigations before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) and The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), as well as subsequent related litigation; wage and hour actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and otherwise; condominium and homeowners’ association litigation; Fair Housing Act (FHA) complaints/investigation before HUD and subsequent litigation; corporate director and officer disputes; corporate derivative actions; landlord tenant litigation; Errors and Omissions claims; defamation litigation; professional malpractice matters; and products liability litigation. Mr. Minko received his undergraduate degree in Management, graduating cum laude, from Binghamton University. He attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, graduating in the top 5% of his class. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of Nova Law Review, Volume 34, and was a recipient of the Nova Merit Scholarship. Mr. Minko also received Book Awards in law school for obtaining the highest grade in Constitutional Law and Advanced Legal Research. Mr. Minko was selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as one of Florida’s Rising Stars of the legal profession in 2017-2020 - a selection of no more than 2.5% of licensed attorneys in the State of Florida based on peer nomination, professional achievements, independent research by Super Lawyers , and peer evaluation by practice area. Mr. Minko also holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell for the highest level of professional excellence, which is a peer rating held only by an elite group 10% of all attorneys nationwide.
