Atty. Dennis A. Watson

Dennis A. Watson is a principal of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. With over 35 years of trial experience, Dennis concentrates his practice in complex insurance, commercial, construction, maritime, insurance, personal injury, and estate litigation.

Dennis is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He is also a proctor in the Maritime Law Association and a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute. Dennis has served as a Special Master in the Civil Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

In July 2012, he was appointed to a three-year term on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC), a state commission charged with the oversight and review of all proposed and existing regulations promulgated by various state agencies, authorities, courts or municipal governments.

Dennis has also been actively involved in the community for many years. Currently, he is a trustee of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania, chairman of the Borough of West View Zoning Hearing Board and chairs the Municipal Authority of the Borough of West View. Dennis previously served as director of the Board of Education of the North Hills School District for eight years, including two years as its president.

Since 2005, Dennis has been recognized regularly as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
