Licensed to practice U.S. federal immigration law in every state and throughout the world

Born in New Mexico and raised in Arkansas, Mariah spent her time studying the arts and history. During her undergraduate education, Mariah discovered an interest in law when learning about the difficulties of recovering stolen art by the Nazi regime during World War II. In law school, Mariah narrowed her focus to immigration law after spending time working with Catholic Charities Legal Immigration Services. During the final semester in law school, Mariah began clerking at Occam Immigration and became an associate after passing the South Carolina bar exam. Mariah's work covers all areas of immigration law, and focuses on family-based cases, asylum, U visas, and naturalization. She also handles state-law related matters for the firm.
