Robert K. Sholl is an experienced attorney in the Litigation and Labor & Employment Practices at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. He is licensed in both Wisconsin and Illinois. Representing management exclusively, Mr. Sholl advises and defends employers in the full range of labor and employment law matters. His employment practice encompasses employment discrimination, workplace harassment, noncompete agreement, whistleblower, wage/hour, and breach of employment contract lawsuits before federal and state agencies and courts. He defends employers in unemployment and worker's compensation hearings and in employee safety disputes before OSHA. His traditional labor practice includes collective bargaining, unfair labor practice hearings before the National Labor Relations Board, and labor arbitrations. Mr. Sholl earned an A.B. degree, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College, where he graduated with highest distinction and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He ?earned an M.A. degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Warwick Business School (Coventry, England), and his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School. Mr. Sholl is coauthor of two State Bar of Wisconsin treatises, Wisconsin Employment Law and Hiring and Firing in Wisconsin. He also authored "Age Discrimination and the Modern Reduction in Force" (Marquette Law Review), and three articles in the Wisconsin Lawyer: "Plant Closing Legislation," "Family & Medical Leave Acts: Where Lie the "Greater Rights'?," and "Agreements to Arbitrate Statutory Employment Claims". He is a Fellow, Litigation Counsel of America, and a Member of the Trial Law Institute. Mr. Sholl is Vice President of the Wisconsin Labor and Employment Relations Association and a former Director of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Wisconsin State Bar.
