William F. Osberghaus, Jr. is a partner in the Government, Regulatory & Internal Investigations Practice Group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. William’s practice focuses on conducting internal investigations and representing public companies, financial institutions, investment advisers, accounting firms, and individuals in connection with a broad range of enforcement investigations involving the federal securities laws and related rules and regulations, including investigations conducted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). He also has appeared before the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and state Attorneys General.
