- From when she was a little girl, her dream was always to become a lawyer
- After graduating college, Disha pursued her dream and went on to achieve her law degree at South Texas College of Law
- During law school, Disha participated in many legal clinics, participated in the Summer Advocacy Mock Trial program, and interned for Lone Star Legal Aid, Probate Court No. 3, and an employment law firm
- Disha served as Secretary and President of the South Asian Law Student Association from 2010 to 2012 and was involved in several other law school organizations
- Eager to start practicing in the legal profession, Disha graduated early from law school, earning her juris doctorate in 2012
