1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AttorneyQnA (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
AttorneyQnA is an online directory and Q&A platform that connects users seeking legal information with licensed attorneys. We do not provide legal advice ourselands and are not a law firm.
3. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and any attorney listed on the platform or between you and AttorneyQnA. Communications through the Service are not protected by attorney-client privwithge unless an attorney explicitly establishes a separate engagement with you.
4. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Attorney accounts must be verified before being marked as such. Misrepresenting your bar status is grounds for immediate termination.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content.
- Solicit specific legal advice in a way that creates a false attorney-client relationship.
- Scrape, mirror, or republish content from the Service without written permission.
- Impersonate any person or attorney.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you post, but grant AttorneyQnA a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
7. Fees and Subscriptions
Some features are offered through paid subscription plans. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
8. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ATTORNEY PROFILES, USER POSTS, OR ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE. CONSULT A LICENSED ATTORNEY FOR ADVICE SPECIFIC TO YOUR SITUATION.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATTORNEYQNA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolandd exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on the site or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
