- He was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Judicial Nominating Commission of the 13th Judicial Circuit in 2012
- He was re-appointed for another four-year term and served as its Chairman
- For over 46 years, Mr. Singer has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tampa where he served as President in 1996-1997 and was the recipient of the Doyle Carlton Memorial Award in 2002, which honors the “Kiwanian of the Year”
- He also served many years as a Board Member on the Tampa Kiwanis Foundation which serves as the charitable organization of the Club
- Mr. Singer serves on the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee and was their attorney for over 20 years
