- Most notably, Brett successfully argued a motion to suppress physical evidence – several pounds of marijuana – a decision that was upheld by the United States Supreme Court!
- A South Florida native, Brett obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and received his Juris Doctor from University of Miami School of Law, graduating Cum Laude
