- After graduation from the Pennsylvania State University in 1970, Mr. Steinberg received his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1973
- After a one year clerkship in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Mr. Steinberg served a two year term as an Assistant District Attorney in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office
- He went into private practice in 1976, and handles criminal defense, civil litigation and dispute resolution cases
- He regularly serves as a Neutral Arbitrator or Mediator in all types of cases
- He has been certified six times since 1986 as a Criminal Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy
- Mr. Steinberg is a Past-President of the Montgomery Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Foundation, the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Montgomery American Inn of Court
- He has been a Discovery Master for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas since 1997
- In 1999, he helped organize and start the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP), a non-profit organization providing free legal services to abused and neglected children in legal conflict situations, and has served as a Child Advocate and as the President of the Board of Directors since MCAP’s inception
