Katie has worked with a variety of clients, including national and regional banks, engineering firms, local insurance and financial advising businesses, research organizations, veterinary and medical practices, non-profits, and commercial and residential service providers. She has drafted, reviewed, and negotiated employment contracts and severance agreements, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, and corporate governance and shareholder agreements. She has also prepared multi-faceted commercial loan packages, including promissory notes, loan agreements, borrowing authorizations, guaranties, assignments, and security agreements covering personal and real property. Katie has drafted and revised master services agreements with biopharma study sponsors and clinical trial agreements with study sites, complex IT vendor contracts, service contracts for HVAC and pest control companies, and business purchase and sale agreements.
Katie also has extensive experience in commercial loan workouts and commercial foreclosures involving properties ranging from multi-million dollar commercial buildings to residential subdivisions to doublewide mobile homes.
