Why we exist

Finding the right attorney should not be guesswork.

Most people interact with the legal system at a moment of stress — a dispute, an immigration filing, an injury, a family transition. The directory has to be honest, comprehensive, and easy to navigate. That is what we build, and what we are accountable for.

Our mission

Give the public a transparent way to identify, compare, and contact licensed U.S. attorneys based on their bar admissions, practice areas, location, and professional history — without paywalls and without editorial bias.

Our vision

Be the most trusted public directory of U.S. legal professionals: independent, machine-readable, and accountable to the people it serves — not to the firms it lists.

How we operate

Five commitments that shape the product.

These are written down because we want to be held to them. If you ever feel the platform falls short of one, write to us — that is what the contact form is for.

Independence

We do not represent attorneys, we do not refer cases, and we do not accept payment to alter rankings or remove unfavorable reviews.

Verifiable data

Profiles are built from public bar registries and court records. Where there is a discrepancy, the public source wins until corrected.

Right of correction

Any attorney can claim their profile, update their information, or request removal of a specific data point with cited evidence.

Privacy by default

We collect the minimum necessary to operate. Email addresses you provide to contact an attorney are not sold or shared with third parties.

Multilingual access

The public site is available in English and German, with full path-prefix routing and locale-aware emails to broaden access.

Continuous accuracy

Our scrapers and data pipelines refresh continuously; bar status, addresses, and practice areas are re-validated on a rolling schedule.

Important

We are a directory, not a law firm.

Not legal advice

AttorneyQnA is an information platform. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Use of this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. The information you see on a profile is sourced from public records and from the attorney directly; it is provided as a research aid, not as a recommendation. For advice on your specific situation, contact a licensed attorney directly and confirm their current standing with the relevant bar.
