William W. Ehrke is a shareholder with the firm. He practices in state and federal administrative forums (EEOC, Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, Illinois Department of Human Rights) as well as state and federal trial courts in Wisconsin and Illinois, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. His focus is on civil defense litigation with emphasis on personal injury/product liability defense, employment discrimination defense and workman’s compensation litigation defense for various municipal, insurance, and corporate clients has included over 50 jury trials and over 100 administrative hearings and proceedings during the last 22 years.His employment defense experience includes the successful litigation defense of clients in racial discrimination, handicap discrimination, gender based discrimination, equal pay, religious discrimination, harassment, retaliation and hostile work environment claims. He also provides advice and counsel to municipalities and private employers on these issues outside of and prior to litigation in a risk analysis and loss reduction context.
