He has lectured for the Nassau Academy of Law on matrimonial topics such as custody, visitation, relocation, and trial preparation. He has also taught students in family law practice seminars at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and Touro Law School. In addition, A.J. has participated in the development and presentation of programs through the New York Family Law American Inn of Court focused on ethics, professionalism, and civility in matrimonial practice. He has also served as a mentor to law students participating in the Child and Family Advocacy Fellowship Program at Hofstra University’s Center for Children, Families and the Law.
A.J. earned his undergraduate degree from Queens College of the City University of New York, where he was active in student government and served as president of the student government association. He later received his Juris Doctor degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
