- Adam has a strong commitment to the West Michigan Community which includes serving as the defense representative for a Drug Treatment Court Program
- Adam also takes great pride in his efforts towards the planning and implementation of one of Michigan’s first Sobriety Courts
- Adam served several years as the president of the Van Buren County Bar Association
- Civically, Adam serves the community as a member of the board of Directors for the Van Buren County Habitat for Humanity and the Holland Hockey Association
- Adam’s wife Kim and their son, Jack, reside in Holland, Michigan where they enjoy the many opportunities that are available within their lakeshore community
- Prior to their move to Holland, Adam and Kim resided in and around the Kalamazoo community since meeting in 1999, while students at Western Michigan University
