- Under Adam’s leadership, Slater Slater Schulman successfully negotiated a $116.2 million settlement with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), bringing long-awaited justice to over 100 survivors of sexual abuse, marking the largest settlement ever paid by the BOP
- In a span of three weeks in 2024, Adam secured record settlements for hundreds of clients, including $1.2 billion in settlements with Catholic Archdioceses in Los Angeles and New York
- He also successfully negotiated a $320 million settlement with the Diocese of Rockville Centre in New York, the largest Diocese settlement in the history of New York State, and the first Diocese settlement to be reached nationwide following the Supreme Court’s recent Purdue Pharma decision relating to non-consensual third-party releases
- Ahead of the record $2.46 billion settlement reached on behalf of former Boy Scouts of America members, Adam co-founded the Coalition of Abused Scouts for Justice, served as a lead negotiator for the reorganization plan, and was appointed to serve on the seven-person Settlement Trust Advisory Committee tasked with overseeing the distribution of claims as fairly, efficiently and expeditiously as possible
- Under Adam’s direction, Slater Slater Schulman filed approximately 1,800 cases under New York State’s Adult Survivors Act, the most of any law firm, as well as more than 720 Child Victims Act cases in New York and more than 8,400 CVA cases nationally
