- She also led trainings on legal topics for marketing teams and other business groups, something she still enjoys doing for clients, students and community organizations
- Prior to working in-house, Allison practiced intellectual property law at the Manhattan law firms Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu, and Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, and the Washington, DC firm Saidman DesignLaw Group, where she co-wrote an amicus brief to the U.S
