- After graduating from law school, she dedicated her practice to helping families through the system and keeping children out of the system
- Ms. Gundersen is a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney practicing for over 30 years, and had her own law practice for over 17 years before 17being elected to the Circuit Court bench in November 2016 where she served as a Circuit Court Judge for the 17th Circuit for Broward County from 2017-2023
