- Before entering private practice, Ann completed a two-year clerkship with The Honorable Richard B. Potter, then Chief Judge, of the Prince William County Circuit Court
- During her clerkship, Ann also assisted the Prince William County Bar Association in completely revising its "Domestic Relations Practice Guidelines," a publication designed to assist attorneys in navigating the court system
- Throughout her career, Ann has represented a variety of clients and handled a wide variety of high complex legal issues, including but not limited to, equitable distribution matters, challenging custody disputes, child and spousal support, protective orders, multi-jurisdictional cases, and business valuations
- Ann has also successfully negotiated many prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Ann believes that best outcome in any case is one where the client controls the outcome, which is usually through the mediation process
