- Majoring in Government and Politics, I graduated from George Mason University with my B.A. degree in 1979
- Pursuing a legal education over the next few years, I received my J.D. degree from G.M.U
- School of Law in 1984
- My family has lived in Prince William County for the past decade and currently resides in Haymarket
