- After graduating, Mr. Eisen earned the highest score on the following Ohio Bar Examination
- Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Eisen spent a year as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and then spent three years as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., where he prosecuted white collar fraud cases
- Mr. Eisen gained some notoriety when he took on Philip Morris in a case alleging that tobacco companies were violating prohibitions on television advertising by the strategic placement of billboards at sports venues
- That case led to the removal of “The Marlboro Man” and other tobacco advertising from NFL, MLB, and NBA stadiums and venues around the country
- It also whet Mr. Eisen’s appetite for taking on big, well-funded litigation opponents
- Since joining the firm in 1996, Mr. Eisen has focused his practice on cases of medical negligence and wrongful death
- He has been first chair trial counsel in more than 15 medical malpractice cases, and he has obtained dozens of multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients
- Mr. Eisen also has won cases in the Courts of Appeals, as well as the Supreme Court of Ohio
- He is licensed to practice in Ohio and Washington, D.C
