- After working for a year at a small general practice law firm handling a variety of claims, including auto accidents, workers compensation and slip and fall cases, Bruce took a job at a boutique firm in Baltimore City that exclusively represented the victims of childhood lead paint poisoning, which had been negatively impacting the city’s poorest neighborhoods for decades
- There, he learned the ins and outs of lead paint litigation and had the opportunity to try numerous complex civil cases to verdict before Baltimore City juries
- In 2004, Bruce joined a large local firm that had previously been solely focused on asbestos litigation
- The firm had just started a lead paint poisoning litigation practice at that time and brought Bruce on to help them grow their practice
- Over the ensuing years, the firm’s practice grew to become one of the largest and busiest lead paint practices in Baltimore
- Along the way, Bruce obtained tens of millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of his clients
- He also obtained dozens of substantial verdicts for children injured by lead
- Bruce is a former board member and past president of the Loyola Blakefield Alumni Association
- He is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Maryland Association for Justice, and the Maryland State Bar Association
