- During New York’s 2021-2022 Budget process, Charles provided legal and financial analysis on a number of ground-breaking legislative reforms in New York State, including the legalization of mobile sports wagering, the legalization of recreational cannabis use, and the establishment of the New York’s Excluded Workers Fund
- During law school, Charles was a Student Honors Program Legal Extern for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Office of International Affairs in Washington, D.C., and a Student Honors Program Legal Intern the New York Regional Office’s Enforcement Division
- Charles also held internship positions with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Bureau of Financial Crimes, and the Nassau County Attorney’s Department of Real Estate, Planning and Development
