- Overseeing a staff of 28 union personnel, I collaborated with the Office of the District Attorney, city agencies, area hospitals, and the CDC
- When working with Presentation Point Philadelphia, I assisted in lifting legal impediments that prevented people with addiction from accessing treatment.Prior to and during law school, I was a bioethicist at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where my work focused on intellectual property, regulatory oversight of human subjects research, conflicts of interest and improving public understanding science and technology
- I sat on the Institutional Review Board of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, authored a primer on gene patents used by hundreds of disease advocacy groups across the country
