- Dan also serves as Code Enforcement Special Magistrate for the City of Maitland and as counsel to the Seminole County Code Enforcement Board, the Orange County Building Codes Board of Adjustments and Appeals, and the Orange County Nuisance Abatement Board
- Additionally, he serves as general counsel to the Florida Insurance Alliance, an insurance pool specializing in insuring governmental entities
- Dan has also served as a Special Magistrate in Land Use Dispute Proceedings and as special counsel for several governmental entities, including community development districts, dependent special districts and municipalities
