- In 2011 Danny graduated from Dixie with his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance
- Danny then took a year off from school and taught sign language courses for Dixie State College and was heavily involved in the deaf community
- After taking a year off from his studies, Danny decided to attend law school in San Diego, California

- After completing his first year of law school he elected to transfer and finish law school at the University of Utah’s College of Law

- During law school, Danny was involved in a car crash with a person who was texting while driving
