- David has been an active member of the Meritas Young Lawyers group since joining the Young Lawyer Advisory Board in 2018, and is the Chair of the newly re-branded Emerging Leader Advisory Board for 2023-2024
- In May of 2023, David joined the Meritas Board of Directors and is serving on the Meritas Member Engagement Committee
