Prior to joining the firm, David founded his own practice in Nashville, Tennessee, focused on corporate and securities issues including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate governance matters. Prior to founding his own firm, David was an associate in the corporate and securities group at a large firm based in Nashville, where he practiced in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, private equity transactions, capital markets, and Securities and Exchange Act reporting and compliance. His legal experience spans a range of industries, from healthcare and manufacturing, to retail and technology.

David graduated from Vanderbilt Law School, where he served as the Executive Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. While in law school, he earned a certificate from Vanderbilt’s Law & Business Program and was awarded the Grace Wilson Sims Medal in Transnational Law. He received his bachelor’s in finance from Florida State University.
David lives in his hometown of Jacksonville with his wife, Annie, and their three young children. In their spare time, the Roberts enjoy spending time outdoors, playing music and traveling.
