- Thereafter, David passed the Texas Bar, and worked in-house at the largest rental car company in the United States
- He also operated his own firm before leaving Texas for California in 2006
- After passing the bar in California, David was staff counsel for a real estate and development company, handling both complex litigation and several transactions, and then worked for a small firm representing individuals and small businesses throughout Northern California
- Prior to attending law school, David received his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas
- When not zealously representing clients, he is active in his church, enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two children
