- He retired from the Suffolk County Police Department as a Patrol Sergeant in October of 2004

- He is a member in good standing of the Suffolk County Superior Officers Association, the Suffolk County Police Conference, and the Suffolk County Police Association
- He also maintains membership with the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association

- The Police Conference is an organization of professional Law Enforcement Officers from the State, County, Town and Village Police departments operating in Suffolk County, New York
