- This experience inspired him to pursue the legal profession and set him off on a mission to advocate for those who are unable to stand up for themselves
- Mr. Salazar earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and earned his law degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law
- In addition to holding leadership roles in various organizations during his tenure at Barry, Mr. Salazar was also an active member of the school's Nationally recognized Trial Team, competing in various competitions
- In late 2018, he earned the privilege to represent Barry University in the Hon. E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition hosted by the FJA Young Lawyer’s section, where he and his team took first place, after going undefeated among 15 teams from 8 different law schools
