- Ms. Schröder began her legal career in New York City at the Wall Street Law Firm of Dewey Ballantine, LLP, worked for the State University of New York as a Prosecutor, practiced with the law firm of Jaeckle, Fleishmann & Mugel, LLP for five years and then joined the national law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll, PC in 1996, where she was made a shareholder
- In 2000, she joined with a fellow shareholder, Linda H. Joseph to form her current firm
- She is active in a number of charitable and community groups
- She is an EMT with the Franklinville Fire Department’s Ambulance Squad and she and her husband co-founded a 501 (c) 3 charity--- Rescue A Horse where they recue at risk horses and rehabilitate and rehome them
- She and her husband also own and operate an exotic poultry farm in Franklinville, New York
