- Previously, Mr. Willis managed the corporate law department of a large insurance carrier and was general counsel to a health care company, in addition to practicing as a civil litigation attorney for over twenty years
- He is an active participant in the firm’s SIU Fraud Division representing carriers by bringing affirmative complaints and counterclaims on their behalf
- After graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, Mr. Willis attended the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated with honors
- While at the University of Miami School of Law, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Journal of International Law
- Mr. Willis has tried cases in Broward, Dade, Monroe, Polk, and Palm Beach counties, as well as in the United District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida
- He has also successfully handled appeals in both the Florida District Courts of Appeal and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals 11th Circuit
