Before joining Bush Ross, Mr. Andersen practiced general commercial litigation with Jones Day in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Andersen currently serves on the Florida Bar Board of Governors and ee is a past President and member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Board of Directors. Mr. Andersen has been appointed by the Florida Governor three times to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, and has served since 2010. Mr. Andersen is a graduate of Leaderships Florida Class XXXIII (2016) and Leadership Tampa 2006. Mr. Andersen has been recognized as a 2007 Outstanding Young Alumnus by the University of Florida Levin College of Law, is a Past President of the UF Law Alumni Council, and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Mr. Andersen is a Solicitor in the Cheatwood Inn Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Mr. Andersen has been recognized from 2012 to 2020 as one of the Best Lawyers in America. He also has been named to Florida's "Legal Elite" by Florida Trend Magazine every year since 2011 and as a "Florida Super Lawyer" by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine since 2011. Mr. Andersen has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
