- He served as a Judge Advocate in the US Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971, as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas until 1972 and was Associate Counsel for US Financial Corporation until 1974
- Jack was counsel for the lead plaintiff in antitrust litigation which resulted in a $29,000,000 settlement for his client after trial and appeal to the U.S
- Supreme Court.* In 1987 he testified on Federal Antitrust legislation before the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives
- In 1994 Jack was lead litigation counsel for plaintiff in the Pacific Park Plaza construction defect litigation which resulted in a $19,300,000 settlement, which at that time was the largest condominium construction defects settlement in California history
- In 1999 Jack was lead plaintiff’s counsel in the case of Montgomery Washington Homeowners Association construction defects litigation which resulted in a $1,300,000 verdict for plaintiff
- In 1996, he served on the Blue Ribbon Task Force on California’s Home Construction Industry convened by Bill Lockyer, President Pro Tem of the California State Senate
- Jack has guest lectured in trial practice at the University of San Francisco Law School and has participated in statewide seminars on Construction Defect Litigation sponsored by the California Trial Lawyers Association
