- Jim’s practice has always involved civil litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and businesses, both domestic and foreign
- Over the years, he has been engaged in a wide variety of cases, but with a large number of insurance-related matters, such as liability claims of all types, coverage disputes, bad faith, and fraud
- He has handled hundreds of cases for the insurance industry

- He finds great professional gratification in the opportunity to bring his experience to bear on behalf of the injured and to standing up for the individuals who have experienced the predatory practices of today’s insurance industry
- Jim and his wife Nancy are the proud parents of two sons (Ben and Will)
- Ben is a 2016 honors graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, and Will is a student at Vanderbilt University
