- Jeff also has significant experience in a broad range of tax matters, including the taxation and operation of tax-exempt entities as well as advising clients on wealth transfer planning and traditional estate planning
- What do you focus on?
- Today I focus my practice on three main areas: Tax Credit Finance I regularly represent institutional investors in projects qualifying for the LIHTC and/or the HTC and in dispositions of interests in LIHTC properties
- I have also represented developers in projects qualifying for HTC and the RETC
- Tax Experience My tax practice primarily encompasses transactional work for corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, with an emphasis on partnership tax issues, charitable foundations, tax-exempt organizations and state and local tax issues
- I also have significant experience representing clients in civil tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities
- Wealth Transfer Planning My trusts and estates practice includes personal wealth transfer planning
