- I moved to St. Louis from West Texas in 1992 in order to attend St. Louis University School of Law
- I fell in love with the City of St. Louis (and a local boy) and settled down here
- My husband and I are raising our two children in our vibrant city neighborhood
- For much of my legal career, I defended the rights of the indigent accused
- I firmly believe that everybody deserves a chance to be heard, regardless of income or social standing or race or creed
