- Mr. Norton was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1978 at which time he joined his father, William Harrison Norton, in the practice of law at Norton & Pollard, P.C., which later became Norton, Pollard & Norton P.C., and eventually Norton & Norfleet, P.C
- In his first 10 years of practice Mr. Norton had a general practice including domestic relations, traffic law, personal injury and numerous civil matters
- Over the last 24 years Mr. Norton has developed a reputation as one of the preeminent medical malpractice and personal injury trial attorneys in the state of Missouri
- Mr. Norton has tried in excess of 150 jury trials in his career and is credited with having obtained 7 verdicts in excess of $1 million
- In 2004 Mr. Norton obtained a $22 million verdict on behalf of a brain-injured child who sustained injuries in a tractor-trailer accident
- The verdict was the largest trucking verdict and the third largest overall verdict in the state of Missouri that year
- Jack was recently elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL)
