- Mr. Nascimento has handled cases involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Money Laundering, Bribery, Drug Trafficking, RICO, Healthcare Fraud, Wire Fraud, Asset Forfeitures and the representation of victim corporations/individuals in attempts to collect restitution
- He has tried cases at all levels, from minor offenses, to those with potential life punishments and the death penalty, and has been educated by some of the leading experts in the world on DNA comparison and issues surrounding transfer and contamination, facial recognition and issues surrounding eyewitness memory and facial comparison

- Joe grew up in South Florida and got his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida
- After UF, Mr. Nascimento went on to attend the University of Miami School of Law as a Dean’s Merit scholar, where he graduated, cum laude, with a Juris Doctor
