- After graduation, Kevin worked as a prosecutor in the Office of the Corporation Counsel in New York City
- In 1987, he was promoted to Deputy Borough Chief of the Corporation Counsel’s Family Court Division for New York County
- Upon leaving the Corporation Counsel’s office, Kevin went to work for the Long Island Railroad, where he was a Senior Attorney in the Law Department’s Litigation Department
- Kevin began his practice in mass torts in 1991, when he went to work as in-house trial counsel for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in New York City
- He worked on cases involving asbestos, DES, L-tryptophan and defective construction products
- In 1992, Kevin began representing injured railroad employees in FELA cases throughout the Eastern United States
- He tried cases in state and federal courts in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, New York, Indiana, West Virginia and the District of Columbia
