After high school, Kimmy attended Florida State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2008 and a Masters of Art in Applied Economics in 2009. Kimmy continued her studies at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2012.
While in law school, Kimmy focused on gaining experience in many of the different phases of litigation. As an active participant in UF’s Mock Trial Team, she practiced court room skills daily under the watchful eye of seasoned litigation attorneys in preparation for various national mock trial competitions. As an active participant in UF’s International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team, Kimmy learned the art of being an effective counselor in arbitration. While still in law school, Kimmy presided as a co-mediator at the Alachua County Civil Justice Center. She also clerked at the First District Court of Appeal.
Kimmy is licensed to practice before all Florida State Courts.
