- Kurt has taken over 60 jury cases to verdict in his career
- He has also participated in the mediation numerous cases both as an advocate and a mediator
- Kurt has served as the Managing Partner of Roderick Linton Belfance, LLP and has also served on the firm's Executive Committee
- Currently he serves as the firm's General Counsel and is the Partner in charge of the firm's Insurance Defense Practice Section
- Born in Lakewood, Ohio Kurt attended the University of Kentucky, received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Akron
- He is a member of the Akron Bar Association, where he has served on the Board of Trustees and as Chair of several committees
