  • Army eventually earning my commission as a Reserve Army Officer through the New Mexico Military Institute
  • While serving with the Army Reserve I have continued to work and go to school
  • After law school, I went onto active duty with the U.S
  • Army in the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG)
  • I left active duty in 2003 while staying in the Army Reserve
  • I retired from the Army in 2014 after 25 years of service (a mixture of active duty and Reserve service)
  • During my Army career I had the opportunity to prosecute and defend soldiers in cases worldwide
  • My career included deployments to Europe with the 1st Armored Division, and the Middle East, with the 1st Infantry Division
