- She later moved to the New Jersey firm of Shanley and Fisher in Morristown and then to Laddey, Clark, Kienz, Parker & Coffin in Sparta
- She was appointed to the Superior Court in January 1992 and sat in the Family, Civil, Criminal and Probate Parts in Newton
- In August 2001, she was appointed to the Appellate Division, where she served until her recent retirement
- While on the bench, Parker authored numerous published opinions, including several addressing groundbreaking legal issues
- She taught judicial and continuing legal education courses in New Jersey and at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada
- Parker was an elected member of the Sparta Board of Education in the 1970's, and was an adjunct professor in the paralegal program at Sussex County Community College before her appointment to the bench
