- She went on to receive a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at the University of Central Florida
- Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Mrs. Barnaky returned to the Tampa Bay area when she enrolled at Stetson University College of Law
- While in law school, Mrs. Barnaky interned at the State Attorney’s Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, as well as the Honorable Judge John Schaefer
- Mrs. Barnaky received her law degree and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009
- Prior to private practice, Mrs. Barnaky was an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where she prosecuted hundreds of cases involving misdemeanor or felony crimes
- As an attorney in the private sector, Mrs. Barnaky practiced Medical Malpractice defense representing physicians, physician extenders, nurses, medical centers and hospitals in a variety of cases including cases involving catastrophic injury or death
