- He has significant experience defending law enforcement officers and agencies in excessive force, false arrest and other misconduct claims
- He has represented numerous municipalities against claims that they had taken property without providing just compensation and in other land use matters
- Mike also serves as outside personal injury defense counsel for several Regional Transit Authorities
- Included in his work with political subdivisions has been a significant emphasis on school districts, where Mike has represented various districts and educational service centers in employment, civil rights, and general tort liability matters
- Mike represents professionals in a wide range of disciplines in professional liability claims and in administrative enforcement actions brought by state regulatory boards
- He also defends employers in employment discrimination claims in both administrative agency investigations and litigation
