- He has litigated a wide variety of cases in that time, but now focuses a 100% of his practice representing whistleblowers by bringing and litigating cases under the federal False Claims Act, various state false claims acts, the SEC whistleblower provisions, and whistleblower retaliation claims
- Mr. Peak has helped build a robust FCA practice at his previous firm and is thrilled to bring that experience to Bracker & Marcus LLC. He has represented whistleblowers or “relators” in wide array of FCA cases, including healthcare fraud, Medicare/Medicaid billing schemes fraud, Stark Law violations, Anti-Kickback Statute violations, managed care fraud, GSA defective pricing fraud, Trade Agreements Act violations, and other cases involving specific statutory violations which entail payment of taxpayer money
- Mr. Peak has been lead or co-counsel in a number of FCA cases across the country that both the U.S. government has intervened in, and has extensive experience successfully litigating FCA cases in which the U.S. government declined to intervene
- Mr. Peak received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C. and his undergraduate degree was received from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa
- Mr. Peak is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia
