- He also interned at a Fortune 500 company, a personal injury law firm, and the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General
- Prior to Spetsas Buist, Nick gained litigation and trial experience working for the largest insurance defense firm in Florida and, subsequently, a prominent national law firm, where he represented companies and their insurance carriers in complex civil litigation matters, including personal and catastrophic injury, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, automobile, and trucking liability, and negligent security
