Paul has been involved in a number of complex and widely reported matters. His work includes serving as co-counsel for Canadian diplomats in Cuba affected by Havana Syndrome, co-counsel for Canadian Veterans impacted by Mefloquine, and co-counsel representing the Province of British Columbia in its class action litigation against opioid manufacturers. He has also acted as co-lead counsel for victims of the 2005 Air France crash at Toronto Pearson International Airport and represented 23 Canadians in litigation arising from the events of September 11, 2001.
Additional litigation experience includes matters related to the MK Airlines Halifax plane crash, TVM litigation, and ongoing work involving the Ethiopian Airlines crash, hernia mesh claims, and Essure litigation. These cases reflect Paul’s continued focus on large-scale personal injury and product liability matters.
Paul is certified in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario and has been recognized by peer-reviewed legal publications for his work in Product Liability Litigation.
